Our Story

Left Hand Agency is a certified Women Business Enterprise, a female-owned agency headquartered in Portland, OR. We focus on delivering high-quality multi-channel media campaigns for a wide variety of clients.

CEO Lauren Ridgley and COO Sarah Williams dreamed of creating an agency that allowed them to balance their creative strengths with their media buying expertise. From the very beginning they envisioned a team that is 100% remote, allowing every employee to enjoy the benefits of working from home. Our clients are spread across the world – why not our team?

While we are headquartered in Portland, OR; we have employees across the US. We are a motley crew of data-driven strategists, creative souls, digital fanatics and media buying wizards. Scroll on down to meet the people that make us great!

LAUREN RIDGLEY

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Lauren Ridgley is an Emmy-Award winning former TV executive who has spent more than 20 years in marketing, advertising and promotion. She is an expert in converging media including programmatic OTT, OOH and other digital media. Ridgley has served on the marketing advisory board for ABC and was honored by Hearst TV for her marketing leadership. Ridgley is passionate about helping businesses achieve their performance goals.

Ridgley loves to travel, garden, cook and is a voracious reader. When she’s not buried in spreadsheets she’s enjoying time with her husband, daughter and dog.

SARAH WILLIAMS

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Sarah Williams is an extremely driven, Emmy Award-winning Producer, with over 20 years of experience in the creative and marketing industries. She leads her team with passion, creating a supportive environment to bring out the best in her talented team of professionals. With a demonstrated track record for leadership, Sarah is an expert at implementing cutting-edge marketing plans, brand development, and communications strategies. With a rare combination of strength in both data-driven strategic marketing as well as producing highly effective creative production, Sarah is also an award winning wedding photographer, speaks a little Italian, and has worked for three of the top TV networks in the world. In her spare time she enjoys traveling the world and spending time with her family.

MAIA BRUSSEAU

ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Maia Brusseau has more than 20 years experience in media, communications, public relations, and marketing. She spent the majority of her career leading award-winning television marketing and creative teams in top 20 TV markets. In 2017, she moved into the nonprofit world to lead public relations, marketing and communications for the largest animal welfare organization in the Rocky Mountain region. Maia joined Left Hand Agency in late 2021 where she was reunited with CEO Lauren Ridgley, more than a decade after the two worked together at CBS Denver. In her current role, she works directly with clients on planning and execution of their outside media campaigns. Having spent 20 years as a client herself, Maia has a deep understanding of client needs and strives to create a seamless client experience.

Maia lives in Colorado with her husband Todd and two cats. They enjoy traveling, hiking, skiing, checking out local restaurants and craft breweries, and seeing live music. A lifelong animal advocate, Maia also serves on the Friends of Foothills Animal Shelter Board of Directors.

RYAN PITZ

CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER

Ryan Pitz brings 20 plus years of award-winning business management experience to his role as our Chief Growth Officer. With a people-centric mindset, Ryan's passion for operational excellence and talent development helps him to tackle whatever comes his way. Before joining Left Hand Agency, Ryan served as a strategic advisor for multiple retail store openings and remodels, transitioning stores every 2-3 years to rebuild broken processes and implementing improvements.

ACCOLADES:
– Awarded Business of the Year by the state of Wisconsin and city of West Milwaukee, recognized by mayor and governor for being a leader within the community.

– Achieved Best Boss Award in Region 100 (recognized as top boss out of 400 in region).

– Received Company Golden Contribution (for excellence in P&L Management) award 14 times as Store Director.
