Promotional Lift

The incremental increase in sales attributed to a temporary promotion, discount, or special display.

How it's Calculated:

Promotional Lift = (Sales During Promotion - Baseline Sales) ÷ Baseline Sales

Example:

Sales of a soda brand increase from 10,000 units per week to 15,000 units during a 2-week promotion, giving a 50% lift.
