The practice of promoting and displaying products at retail to maximize sales. This includes shelf placement, endcaps, POS displays, packaging, and signage.
How it's Calculated:
Measured through sales lift, share of shelf, and compliance rate (stores executing as planned รท total stores).
Example:
A cereal brand pays for eye-level shelf space and an endcap display at Walmart.
